Women’s Strength Training Group

The Women’s Strength Training Group is an on-going barbell class held Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings from 7pm-8:15pm. The group is lead by Starting Strength Coach Nicole Rutherford who teaches our female trainees to properly squat, deadlift, bench press, press and power clean. Our training always revolves around these basic barbells movements with some accessory work added in when necessary. This group is for female lifters of ALL skill levels.

Maybe you have touched a barbell twice in your life. Maybe you have started the Starting Strength Novice Linear Progression and don’t know if you are doing it exactly right. Heck, you may not even know what a barbell is and that is OKAY. Any female, of any skill level and any age is welcome to join this group. We know it can be intimidating starting a new journey, especially when surrounded by individuals very advanced at the task you are just learning.

The purpose of this group is for women to be in an extremely supportive environment, surrounded by other strong, inspirational women. My goal is to get each and every person who walks through my door stronger. I also hope to educate everyone on how to properly focus on nutrition to reach body composition and training goals. You may not consider yourself strong at this very moment, but you will be soon enough-both mentally and physically.

Strength training has changed my life. It will challenge you & is not easy. You will be working hard each and every day you walk into the gym. But when you leave, you will walk out feeling you can handle any feat put in your path. You will feel confident. You will feel determined. You will be Strong.

The Women’s Strength Training Group will be offered as a one month and three month membership option. For a single month, the Women’s Group is $199/month. For a three month commitment the Women’s Group is $175/month. Both membership options include nutrition guidance, individualized programming and small group coaching by trainer Nicole Rutherford.
